Shahid Afridi, another villain in Pakistan story

Dr. Pardeep Mahotra
Shahid Afridi does it again! But, has he done something novel? The obvious answer is “No”, as he has not done anything out of streak. Spitting venom against India, he does cakewalk on the footprints left by earlier seekers of political stronghold.
Only difference remains that this time Shahid Afridi forgets and crosses his limits but this is again not at all against the very spirit of foundation of Pakistan as it has proved so, since the time of its inception. As it happens, it is the easiest way to gain attention in a failing (or better is to put it in the category of already failed Nation), which is being autocratically ruled by the radicals and Army bosses according to their own whims and fancies.
This time, Shahid Afridi experiments in a rather restricted terrain, when he delivered hate speeches in and about “Illegally Occupied Areas of Jammu & Kashmir by Pakistan” in a failed bid to instigate masses. As he used derogatory language against the Indian premier Narendra Modi, he has obviously challenged the international community, where Indian Prime Minister is today being viewed as an Iconic personality, as a world leader promising to take the world out of the grave danger posed by Covid-19 Pandemic.
Mr. Afridi may have been suffering from dementia, but in a Nation living on alms, he must have been facing scarcity of proper testing and drugs, although Pakistan is always ready to dig mass graves in case of any time of emergency ( Before even Pakistan was ready with the testing procedures of COVID-19 infection, it started to transport all the suspected infected patients to PoJK and also initiated digging up mass graves there).
I must take the opportunity to remind the infamous cricketer that there is living hell like situation for minorities in Pakistan. They don’t enjoy any freedom of speech, right to worship, cannot enjoy civil liberties, are not given any fair chances in education or jobs. Minorities cannot even knock the doors of court rooms against any atrocity in Pakistan as they fear for their lives. Mr. Afridi, our Premier Mr. Modi has given respect and right with dignity to every single person from every community, so you don’t have any right or even stature to raise any question on our PM.
And what to talk about new foundlove of Mr. Afridi for the people of Jammu & Kashmir, as his country has only managed to make the lives of PoJK residents a living hell. And yet it never fails to plant terrorists and hate speeches to vitiate the atmosphere in otherwise peaceful and developed Jammu & Kashmir.
This act by Afridi obviously did hurt the Cricket community’s sentiments, who were enthusiastically supporting your foundation not much days back. But I understand that it is an age-old record of “Pakistani fame seekers” to use derogatory rhetoric against India. There is nothing incidental in these provocative and misleading statements by Pakistanis as they still romance in medieval times.
Alike whole world, Pakistan has been going through the rough times because of Corona Pandemic; but the infection blast by COVID-19 has no match with the blasting power of “Pakistani fame gainers” as they intend to go on producing bombs deadlier than ever before with their venomous speeches.
Pakistan has established itself as a devastated state, but the depth of foolishness can be gauged from the fact that it uses the resources (gained by the virtue of its begging attribute) in the campaign against the India by raging Jammu & Kashmir in every inappropriate turf. Sometimes, it seems that representatives of Pakistan utterly fail or refuse to understand the language, theme and the motive of the international level meetings!
Pakistan could have used those loaned resources, for the betterment of its citizens, but it stubbornly denies doing so even after suffering for 7 decades. It resolves to live in the state of day dreaming, just like the flat-Earthers.
Pakistan democracy, as the world knows remains an object of virtual projection only, a puppet Government, existent only to be misguided by the over ambitious supremos of Pakistan Army, which has for some reasons now chosen to be on backseat as it will be more comfortable for the Pakistani Army to put blame on the Government. But surely, we do know, that who has the real remote channelizing all the resources of country to use them in propagandas and preparations for cold war like situations.
It is open before the whole world, that the terrorist groups openly supported by the radicals, having safe heavens in Pakistan are getting secure funding right beneath the nose of popular Governments backed by Pakistani Army. They are loosening all the hell upon the economy and social fabric of the Nation, think about this, Mr. Afridi, if you really want to do something for your people.
Had Pakistan remained a good neighbour and a loyal friend with India, it could have achieved a win-win situation. But no, the people like Afridi will never let it happen and that has become Pakistan’s destiny.
Pakistani economy shows no signs of improvement but has rather burdened its citizens with thoughtless actions. It is bounded on one side by the US and on the other lies the Dragon. Law and order are the things that are not be discussed about in the lands of Pakistan. Social fabric is totally non-existent in Pakistan. Being a Minority is a birth crime in Pakistan, for which minorities need to be continuously publicly demoralized, humiliated, raped, lynched and killed mercilessly.
Pakistan has gained nuclear arsenal, which could have strengthened its stand internationally, while also giving some edge of technology to prosper. But, alas, today, the whole world and even Pakistan is afraid that terrorists can gain control over them risking not only the South-Asian countries, but the whole world.
Mr. Afridi must focus himself on the existing provinces of Pakistan and develop some insight to save them before venturing out in the terrains of Jammu & Kashmir, which is sole property of India. You can use your energy, in the shaping of better future for the Crores of people living in the hell like situation in your country, who are otherwise ready to be up in arms against your very existence.
Taliban poses a big threat to Pakistan, which is even internally supported from the Pakistan Government, radical elements and Pakistan army, so do have some liberty of time to realign your forces to stabilize your country.
Pakistan loves to play victim’s card in front of other countries. It says that it is the sufferer of terrorism, but never fails to glamorize the terrorists, provides all the safety, security and the funding to terrorist groups. It keeps going with the terrorism as its state policy but it is unmoved by its negative impact within its own territory.
Last, but not the least, Pakistan along with all the other Nations has to focus its energy to curb the spread of COVID-19 infection. Mr. Afridi, try only to focus on this subject if you really want to save your Nation from being renamed as the “Land of Graveyards”.
Mr. Afridi, you have lots to focus upon in your Nation, so keep well within your limits or your state will perish in the course of time. And beware, your state is on the verge of multiple divisions, right one after another and your failed Government can do little to stop it. Better to use your senses to save your lands before they perish right beneath your feet.
