NOWSHERA, May 24: JKPPM chief executive Shahbaz Khan has warned that the Pahari youth would launch a Rajasthan pattern agitation if ST status to the community is further delayed.
Addressing Pahari youth in a delegates session, organized by Pahari Sangarsh Morcha chairman Vikrant Sharma, Shahbaz Khan rued Government attitude towards the genuine demand of the community, which has been demanding ST status and nothing objectionable like separation from the mainstream.
He also criticized those Gujjar leaders who are unnecessarily opposing ST status to the Paharis.
Others who spokes on the occasion, included Danish Mughal, Jawaid Mughal, Amir Mir, Madhur Gupta, Ravinder Singh, Shieraz Inqlabi, Sarfraz Shah, Shah Rukh Mir, Anwar Khan, Susheel Kumar and Manjit Singhre.
