RAJOURI, Mar 9: In the wake of Parliament elections, former Minister and MLA Rajouri Shabir Ahmed Khan addressed public meetings at Jawahar Nagar, Behrote and Salani Bridge, here today.
He emphasized on various sectors for which development has been noticed and also on those sectors where Government was committed to bring the best for the general public. He said under the umbrella of Congress party, he along with his team shall continue to serve the society and ensure pace in developmental activities.
Mr Khan stressed upon the agenda of party which, according to him, always worked on secularism, brotherhood and prosperity of the nation and ensured overall development of the State.
He reiterated that India’s existence as well as future integration is exclusively dependent on secular ideology as its birth is rooted in religious tolerance and secular credentials.
Mr Khan also informed the public that Ghulam Nabi Azad was scheduled to visit Rajouri in the coming week to interact with public of twin border districts.
Others who spoke on the occasion, included Kamal Singh, Sushil Kumar, Pushpinder Singh, Badri Nath, Iqbal Shawl and Akram Khan.
