Rajouri, Mar 23: Former Minister for Health and MLA Rajouri Shabir Khan opened election office at Gujjar Mandi here today. Addressing a large gathering of prominent leaders of the area including Sarpanchs and Panchs, he urged his team to work at the grass root level and explore all ways to make the win of ‘coalition’ candidate Madan Lal Sharma contesting from Jammu-Poonch Constituency.
Khan apprised the people about the works done by the UPA Government, particularly the schemes he brought from the centre to the state and his home town as well. He also thanked Ghulam Nabi Azad, Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare for giving the gift to the State and Pir-panjal region in the form of Medical College. He said that agenda of his party is development and how to keep all people united against the nefarious designs of Communal forces.
He cautioned the people to stand like a pillar against the divisive forces to strengthen the secular forces. He further appealed the public to vote in full strength.
