SFC workers threaten agitation

KISHTWAR, Nov 9: J&K State Forest Corporation Employees Union (Chenab region) has demanded immediate release  of pending wages of the workers  and DA arrears, failing which the Union will be forced to launch agitation.
In a meeting of the Union held  at district headquarters here today, under the chairmanship of M L Parihar, the members  discussed the burning issues of the SFC workers of the Chenab region.  The major issues deliberated upon during the meeting included, timely disbursement  of  salaries, release of pending wages, DA installments / arrears,  6th Pay Commission arrears, implementation of time bound promotions  and granting pensionary benefits to all the employees of  the Corporation.
The speakers alleged that Government and even the Management of the SFC was discriminating with the employees of  the Corporation.  They appealed to the Government to stop this attitude, otherwise, Corporation workers would be compelled to launch agitation.
