JAMMU, June 5: State Football Academy (SFA) and Young Churchill ‘B’ Football Club scripted convincing victories over their rivals in the ongoing 1st Mufti Mohammad Sayeed Gold Cup Football League Tournament, being organized by District Football Association (DFA) Jammu, under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) at GGM Science College Football ground, here.
In the first match, SFA ‘C’ defeated Napoleon Football Club by one goal to nil (1-0). Anuj was the goal scorer for winners in 20th minute of the match.
In another match, Young Churchill ‘B’ defeated Young Warrior by two goals to nil (2-0) in an easy contest. Both the goals were scored by Jai Vikrant Singh in 11th and 17th minutes of the match.
The matches were officiated by Honey Mehra, Rocky Sharma, Sanju Jangral, Rahul Ghai and Mannat Gupta.
The Tournament is being organized Jammu and Kashmir Football Association District Jammu, under the chairmanship of Sheikh Mehmood, while the Organizing Committee Members include Yousuf Don (Organizing Secretary), Charan Dass and Mohan Lal.
