AKHNOOR, Feb 12: For looking after the affairs of Sabha, Sewa Ram, was today elected as the president of Shri Guru Ravidass Sabha, in a meeting held here today.
The meeting was held after the celebrations of Guru Ravidass Jayanti.
A large number of devotees of the biradaris from all around the villages including Daskal, Payan, Sunail, Lehar, Tanda, Gandharwan, Bharda, Akhnoor, Sungal, Bomal, Tacharwan, Godhan participated in the meeting.
After being elected as president, Sewa Ram said that he will work wholeheartedly for the development of mandir and community with the cooperation of the committee to be framed within a few days.
On the occasion, Anil Kumar was elected as vice president.
Among others who attended the meeting included R C Uttam, Rattan Lal, M L Basan, Madan Lal, Behari Lal, Payara Lal, Manoj Kumar, B R Kundal, Surinder Kumar, Sanjay Kumar, Mohan Lal, Darshan Lal and Ajay Shivgotra.
