JAMMU, Apr 21: Members of Jammu Club, Jammu donated a sum of Rs 10 lakh to PM CARES Fund to fight the COVID-19 crisis. Honorary Secretary, Rattandeep Singh Anand along with members of the managing committee of the Club presented the cheque to Sanjeev Verma, Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, who is also vice-president of the Club. In addition to this, the management committee of the Jammu Club also donated Rs 2 lakh to Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu.
An amount of Rs 10 lakhs was donated by Tilak Raj Gupta, Chairman & MD of TRG Industries (P) Limited, while a sum of Rs 1 lakh was donated by Prabhat Singh Jamwal, treasurer J&K BJP, in favour of PM CARES Fund. On behalf of Tilak Raj Gupta, the cheque was handed over by his sons namely Dr Ashok Kumar Gupta and Naresh Gupta to J&K BJP president, Ravinder Raina.
Chander Mohan Gupta, Mayor, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) accompanied by Narian Singh, senior BJP leader/president of Rajput Sabha Jammu and Abhinav Sharma (spokesman of BJP) handed over 28 bank cheques worth Rs 16 lakh to Ravinder Raina, president of J&K unit of BJP at party office, Trikuta Nagar, for PM CARES Fund.
A sum of Rs 5.01 lakh for PM CARES Fund was dedicated today by Beotra Mahajan Bradhari, Bishnah and president, Beotra Mahajan Biradhari, Narinder Gupta also donated Rs 51,000 to JKUT BJP president Ravinder Raina for PM CARES Fund.
Surjeet Kumar, Sarpanch Panchayat Halqa Jhang, Block Ramgarh, handed over a cheque of Rs 60,000 for PM CARES Fund to Chander Parkash Ganga, ex-MLA, Vijaypur. Surjeet informed that this contribution is from the volunters of Panchayat Jhang to support India’s fight against Coronavirus.
Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha, Billawar unit also contributed in PM CARES Fund. President of the Sabha, Raj Kumar handed over a cheque of Rs 10,000 to Deepak Andotra, Branch Head, J&K Bank, Gurha Kalyal.
Sarpanch, Brah (Anantnag) donated an amount of Rs 1500 each towards PM CARES Fund and J&K Relief Fund while MK Jallali, president of Sharika Peeth Sanstha, Subhash Nagar, TN Bhat, president of BJP Displaced District Kashmir, TK Ganjoo, president of Pandit Radha Krishna Ganjoo Memorial Foundation, Jammu and Vidhya Laxmi Baroo donated Rs 10000, 50000, 11111 and Rs 2000 respectively towards PM CARES Fund.
