JAMMU, July 2: The seven-day long youth camp organized by Arya Samaj, Janipur Colony, under the banner of ‘Kendriya Arya Yuvak Parishad, J&K’ concluded today.
The camp was inaugurated by State BJP president, Sat Sharma along with guest of honour, Dr Anil Arya (National president, Kendriya Arya Yuvak Parishad).
This Shivir was attended by more than 70 students comprising boys and girls belonging to various schools of the State. During the 7-day long shivir, students learnt Yogasana, Dand Baithak, Judo Karate, Lazium, Dumbles, Self Defence, Sandhya-Hawan and Vedic & Indian Culture.
In his address, MLA Sat Sharma said that Arya Samaj, Jammu really took a great initiative for upbringing of youth and bringing Vedic values among the youth.
Dr Anil Arya said that youth with strong moral and cultural character are the foundation of a Nation. He said that Arya Samaj builds not only high officials but also good human beings.
