JAMMU, July 17: Pradesh Congress Seva Dal, chief organiser Balwinder Singh Sambyal today said that his unit would launch campaign to strengthen Congress party in the State.
Talking to media-persons here today, Sambyal said on the directions of All India Congress Seva Dal chief, Lal Ji Desai to strengthen the Congress Seva Dal all over India, the State unit has also planned to launch campaign. Sambyal said the meetings of the Seva Dal activists are being held all over Jammu province. The district units headed by the Sava Dal district presidents have been directed to work on the formula of five (D).
The Congress Seva Dal activist should be disciplined, dynamic, daring, dedicated and devoted for the Congress Seva Dal. This is the 5 D formula or mantra given to them. He said that this is the only formula which can make the Congress Seva Dal strong if the Congress Seva Dal is strong then INC will be strong. He said that it is the only party which can fight with such forces in the country those are dividing the people on religion, region and cast basis. Sambyal said that the PDP and BJP has misruled the State and has put all the development works on back foot. No development work has done in the State youth are angry, employee are without salaries and are on the road for their genuine demands.
Sambyal said that for keeping in view All India Congress chief took some strong measures to overhaul the Congress Seva Dal in the State. Desai decided to give responsibilities to young and dynamic youths and divided the State organization into four parts and appointed eight observers who will go in their respective district and will select eight people. Out of them, one will be district chief organizer, district Mahilla organizer one district youth brigade.
Subsequently Daljeet Singh Wazeer has been appointed as observer for Samba, Kathua, Poonch, Rajouri and Jammu and Vijay Sharma co-observer for Urban and Rural Jammu districts; Parshant Sharma as co-observer for districts Poonch and Rajouri Rajesh Sadotra is appointed observer for Udhampur, Reasi, Ramban, Kishtwar and Doda districts and Surinder Manhas as co-observer for the districts; Surjeet Singh Bakshi for Kashmir and Ashraf Wani co-observer, Capt Barcha Tashi observer for Leh and Ladakh.
