JAMMU, Aug 4: State president of BJP, Mahila Morcha, Rajni Sethi today stressed on the increased participation of women in the party at every level while addressing first meeting of Morcha’s State office bearers at BJP Headquarter, here at Trikuta Nagar.
Sethi asked the Morcha’s State office bearers to work with renewed energy for the party. She stressed on the paramount role of women wing of party in securing victory at every level. She said that women participation must increase to the level that no decision could get a nod without the affirmation from women at any level.
She said that the active participation of women in the politics will ensure the greater good of society. She also prompted the Morcha leaders to form a strategy to garner public support in view of approaching elections.
Rajni Sethi in consent with the other senior leaders of the party also made announcement of district prabharis for the Morcha:
Updesh has been nominated as Prabhari for Jammu, R.S. Pura, Basohli, Kathua, Samba, Jammu Rural districts, Sanjita Dogra as Prabhari for Udhampur, Ramban, Kishtwar, Doda, Reasi districts and Shailja Gupta as Prabhari for Jammu West, Akhnoor, Nowshera, Poonch, Rajouri and Displaced Migrant districts.
Kundi Jasrotia as Prabhari and Usha Slathia as Seh-Prabhari for Kathua, Basohli districts, Monika Khosla as Prabhari for Samba district, Sonia Gupta as Prabhari for R. S. Pura, Monika Sharma as Prabhari and Poonam Sharma as Seh-Prabhari for Poonch and Rajouri districts, Anu Gupta as Prabhari for Nowshera district, Anju Dogra as Prabhari for Akhnoor, Parveen Arora as Prabhari for Jammu Rural, Sushma Manhas as Prabhari for Jammu West, Sunita Gupta as Prabhari for Jammu, Neena Gupta as Prabhari for Reasi district, Neena Gupta (Sainik Colony) as Prabhari for Udhampur, Neelam Nagotra as Prabhari for Ramban district, Kamla Gupta as Prabhari and Geetanjali Mahajan as Seh-Prabhari for Doda, Anuradha Sharma as Prabhari and Rafia as Seh-Prabhari for Kishtwar, Neeru Anand as Prabhari and Chand Bhagat as Seh-Prabhari for displaced unit district.
Rajni Sethi, asked the newly nominated Prabharis to visit their allotted areas promptly. She asked them to ensure the organization structure till booth level.
The meeting also stood witness to the discussions on programmes related to the celebrations of 15th August and Raksha bandhan among the masses at every booth level. It was also decided that the Mahila Morcha will start a Grievance Cell for women to address their issues.
