As is evident that terror outfits and their ranks being in pitiable disarray in Kashmir, sporadic incidents of killing of innocents in Kashmir being their last frantic efforts to show their sinking presence, a notable face of the terror outfit HizbulMujahideenSaifullah was gunned down in a gun battle on the outskirts of Srinagar on November 1. With this operation , the cream or the entire top layer of the said outfit is gone amidst a scenario when the backbone is broken of all those engaged in recruiting new gullible young persons in such outfits thanks to joint efforts of the security forces, the Army and the JK Police .
Saiffullah, a top and longest surviving terror ”commander” in the valley, was, however, given opportunity to surrender but since he continued firing on the CRPF and the Police , he got killed which has been claimed by the forces as a major success . Many people must have heaved a sigh of relief , as per the DGP -JK Police, as due to his violent deeds many of their dear ones were lost to them leaving them grieving and mourning. The moral, again, of the ”story” is that one who takes to the gun and violence gets surely consumed by the same , sooner or later. This operation and its results once again provide as a warning and an assurance to all those in militant ranks to return to the mainstream whereupon their ”major rehabilitation” would be ensured failing which the repercussions need not to be elaborated.
