LEH, Mar 15: The Governing Body of the Ladakh Land Records Modernization Agency (LLaRMA) convened a meeting to execute an essential Service Level Agreement (SLA), at the Civil Secretariat, Leh.
Under the agreement, the Ladakh Land Records Management Agency (LLaRMA) officially entered into a strategic partnership with the joint venture of M/S Ramtech Software Solutions Private Limited and M/S Enercomp Solutions Private Limited. The agreement marked a significant milestone in the journey towards modernizing land administration processes across Ladakh.
The SLA encompasses the procurement of state-of-the-art Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Geographic Information System (GIS) Licenses and the development of Customized Web GIS Software, modified to meet the unique geographic and administrative requirements of Ladakh. The initiative is to revolutionize the management, accessibility, and accuracy of land records, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and accountability in governance.
Speaking at the occasion, the Advisor to the Lieutenant Governor, UT Ladakh, Dr Pawan Kotwal expressed commitment to cutting-edge technology to streamline land administration practices and enhance public service delivery. He emphasized the importance of the partnership agreement in facilitating sustainable development, promoting economic growth, and empowering citizens with access to reliable land information.
The meeting was attended by the Commissioner/Secretary of PD&MD, Ladakh; the Deputy Commissioner, Leh; the Director of H&UDD, Ladakh; the Additional Secretary of Finance Department, UT Ladakh; the State Informatics Officer, NIC, UT Ladakh; the Deputy Secretary of Law Department Ladakh; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Leh; the Under Secretary of IT Department, UT Ladakh, while the Deputy Commissioner, Kargil; and Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Kargil joined the meeting virtually.
