Senior Citizen’s Rejuvenation Centre starts ‘langar’

JAMMU, Sept 16: Senior Citizen’s Rejuvenation Centre Trikuta Nagar started ‘langar’ at Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar for attendants of the patients and others.
The langar was inaugurated by ID Soni, State Commissioner(S) Bharat Scouts and Guides Jammu and Chander Prakash, Medical Superint-endent, Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar.

More than 150 persons were served lunch by the Centre with the full involvement of the members.
During the langar, it was ensured that no plastic items of any kind were used.
Such langars will be held on second and fourth Monday of every month.
The Centre is a combination of 51 members mostly reputed and senior citizens both retired from Government and business community.
The members of the Centre discuss all religious and current topics for the betterment of the society at large and Trikuta Nagar residents in particular.
The Centre also runs matrimonial service without any charge for the benefit of all sections of the society.
