NEW DELHI: President Ram Nath Kovind on Tuesday appointed two new Governors for Andhra Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
Senior BJP leader, Biswa Bhusan Harichandan, 85, who was the former Law Minister in the BJD – BJP Odisha Government in 2004, was appointed as Andhra Pradesh Governor.
At present ESL Narasimhan, is holding charge of both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states as Governor.
The President also appointed senior BJP leader and former Rajya Sabha member Anusuiya Uikey, 62, as Chhattisgarh Governor. (AGENCIES)
