JAMMU, Mar 16: J&K unit of Shiv Sena Bala Sahib Thackrey has lambasted Congress, National Conference and other political parties for questioning the credibility of Indian security forces.
In a press conference here today State Shiv Sena president, Dimpy Kohli and General Secretary, Manish Sahni said that air-strikes conducted by Indian Air Force on a Jaish-e-Mohammed training camps in PoK’s Balakot area on February 26 killing more than 250 terrorists have been appreciated by one and all.
“As the Lok Sabha elections are coming close, these so called political parties have started demanding casualty figures by raising questions over the credibility of Indian forces,” Kohli said.
Lauding Indian Air Force for hitting terror launch pads in Pakistan, he said that air strike is the right decision to deal with the terrorist forces.
Kohli lambasted the National Conference president, Dr Farooq Abdullah for linking the surgical strikes with coming elections.
He appealed to the people of the State to give befitting reply to such politicians in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Among others who were present in the press conference included Shiv Sena vice president, Harsh Kumar Gupta, Surjeet Singh Chib, Romesh Koul, Secretary, Raj Singh, Vikas Bakshi and Raju Chowdary.
