JAMMU, May 18: Semifinals position has been cleared in the ongoing Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sub Junior Hockey Championship, being organize by Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh Foundation, under the aegis of Hockey J&K at KK Hakhu Astroturf Hockey Stadium, here.
The teams which have sealed berth in the semifinals include Banda Singh Bahadur Hockey Club Poonch, Bandurakh Hockey Club, Dashmesh Club Nanak Nagar and MRS Simbal Camp.
Now in the last four stage, Banda Singh Bahadur Hockey Club Poonch will take on Bandurakh Hockey Club in the first semifinals, while in another semifinal, Dashmesh Club Nanak Nagar will lock horns with MRS Simbal Camp.
Earlier, in the first match played today, MRS Simbal Camp defeated Jammu Green by two goals to nil (2-0), while Dashmesh Club Nanak Nagar got the better of AKS Digiana by three goals to one (3-1).
In the first match, Harjot Singh and Gurleen Singh scored the goals for winners, while in the second match, the goal scorers from winners were Suraj and Akhashdeep, while Sukhchinder Singh netted the goal for AKS Digiana.
The match was officiated by Ramnik, Navjot, Angad, Harjot and Joginder.
