POONCH, Dec 23: International Human Rights Committee for Protection (IHRCP) organised a seminar on “International Human Rights” here today.
On the occasion, Arvind Sharma, ADDC was the chief guest, whereas Harcharan Singh, Mohammad Iqbal Bhatt, vice president, IHRCP, members of IHRCP and locals were also present.
Ravinder Singh Kaka, president, IHRCP presented the welcome address and highlighted the aims and objectives of IHRCP.
On the occasion, district body of IHRCP was also framed. Tariq Ajaz Dar was elected as district president, Poonch, whereas Kirpal Singh as vice president, Nazam Din as general secretary, Mohammad Kabir as secretary, Mohammad Ibrar as runner, Mahir Ali Jafri as vice president, Surankote, Saghir Ahmed as treasurer, Ashia Firdous as district president Rajouri, Shaina Begum as district president, women wing, Mehnaz Akhter as vice president, Shaine Akhter, Reyaz Ahmed, Mumtaz Rathore, Amit Sharma and Ayaz Ahmed as executive members.
