RAJOURI, Oct 15: Indian Society of Blood Transfusion and Immunohaematology in association with J&K Chapter of Regional Red Cross Society, Jammu, organized one-day seminar on voluntary blood donation at Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Rajouri.
The BGSBU Vice-Chancellor Prof I A Hamal, students, teachers and staff members attended the camp wherein ISBTI State Chapter president and Secretary Regional Red Cross Society Anil K Padha threw light on voluntary blood donation and motivated youth for registering themselves for Red Cross activities to help the humanity.
The VC also spoke on the occasion and asked the students to utilize their time and talent for sharpening their personality and undertaking such noble activities for social service.
Others who spoke on the occasion, included Registrar Prof M R Choudhary, DAA Prof A K Koul and Sadiq Khan.
