JAMMU, Jan 20: The dead body of an unknown woman was recovered today from Nagrota area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, the semi-decomposed body of an unidentified woman of age about 30-35 years was spotted this evening in a nallah near Bantalab, Nagrota, by some locals, who informed the police.
He said that a police team reached the spot and shifted the body to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification/postmortem. “In this connection, Nagrota police has initiated inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC”, he added.
