NEW DELHI: Reiterating that Article 370 prevented replicating the success stories of North East region of India to Jammu and Kashmir, Union Minister Jitendra Singh on Thursday said that the self imposed embargoes prevented us from giving justice to the State.
“I have been realising in the last 7 to 8 weeks that all we have done in last 5 years in Northeast could have been easily replicated in Jammu and Kashmir also which has similar topography and geography”, Mr Singh said while addressing the India economic conclave 2019.
He said that Article 370 has been a huge stumbling block for the development of the State. (AGENCIES)
