JAMMU, Dec 9: Artveda Creative Solutions Pvt Ltd in association with Aditi Welfare India Charitable Trust is organizing ‘Saahas’, a workshop for self defence for women in Jammu on December 12.
The workshop will be organized at GGM Science College during which several programmes will be staged to highlight the need for women to protect themselves from sexual harassment and bullying, which has become a menace in society during past few years.
“It is an effort to empower the girls”, said Programme Director, Sahil Chopra adding that different sessions have been planned during the event which include focus area of health and sanitation, self defence demonstration and women empowerment.
He said that on December 12, live concert of Gurdev Singh will be staged and legends dance group will also perform on the occasion.
