Self centred politics of Cong over CAA exposed: Basotra

BILLAWAR, Jan 10: With the objective to aware the people over Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA),   BJP launched  Panchayat level campaign in Billawar constituency and  in this regard a meeting was organized under the leadership of Abay Khajuria BJP leader and BDC Chairman block Gujroo Nagrota village Aglidhar .
Prominent BJP leader, Pankaj Basotra (Adv) was also present. While speaking on the occasion Basotra said that the selfishness politics of Congress over CAA has been exposed and only to remain alive in today’s politics Congress is creating confusion among the people over CAA.
Basotra said that the  BJP stands for restoration of complete peace and development in the Jammu Kashmir  as well as Ladakh  and that the party will do its best to come up to the expectations of the people of Jammu.
He also said the fundamental rights of local people will be preserved and  statehood to the J&K will also be restored .
While speaking on the benefits of Citizenship Amendment Act he said that this act is justice to those people who were facing cruelties of Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan since long and now a hope to live freely in India has been raised after taking this major decision.
Basotra also said that the tenure of Dr Nirmal Singh as the representative of Billawar constituency was the golden period for the people of Billawar and the people of Billawar constituency will never forget the development that took place in all the spheres.
Abay Khajuria  said that Congress is manipulating people and betraying them to disturb the peace of the country. They are using this act as weapon to spread discrimination between the people on the basis of religion. He appealed the workers not to go with the myths raised by Congress in the society and reach every doorstep to aware mass with the benefits of Citizenship Amendment Act.
Prominent among others who spoke on the occasion included, Raj Kumar Kumblia, Som Dutt , Ashok Kumar , Anand Kisore (all Sarpanches).
