NEW DELHI, Apr 5: Freight rates for 10-tonne load section for select destinations hardened upto Rs 1,000 in the local truck transport market today following tight position of trucks against cargo movements.
Transporters said besides good cargo movements, thin availability of trucks in the markets mainly pushed up some of centres freight.
Delhi to Chennai and Mysore rates moved up by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 70,000 and Rs 71,000.
Rates to Kolkata and Surat also went up by Rs 1,000 each at Rs 34,000 and Rs 30,000.

Ludhiana 22,500 Bangalore 68,000
