It is fairly known that large quantities of low intensity drugs like Corex, Rexcof and other sedatives in liquid form as well as in capsules are smuggled into the state especially in Jammu areas. These drugs are taken by people more so by the young ones which makes them addicts to try for more lethal drugs . Recently there has been a successful raid by the excise staff at Lakhanpur and as many as 600 to 700 bottles are reported to have been seized.
The consignment was on its way from Delhi to Jammu. The need is to save our youth from the destruction through these drugs and Police and Excise authorities must act very tough against such anti social criminal people who smuggle such stuff from other states and areas.
