JAMMU, Nov 20: A peace delegation from India attended five-day Asian Leadership Conference on the theme “Building Nations of Peace: Principles and Practice” , held in Bangkok, Thialand, from November 13.
The seven-member Indian delegation comprised of CP Soni, Dr Seema Rohmetra, Dr Anu Mehra, Dr Pramod Kumar, Advocate Jitender Verma and Vikas.
The conference had representation from almost all the Asian countries like Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Combodia, Laus, Thialand, and India, who successfully deliberated upon the issue of world peace.
The chief speakers were Dr Chung Sikh Yon, Chairman Universal Peace Federation Asia,, Dr  Robert KITTEL, Director of peace Education, UPF, Asia, and  Ursula McLackland the Secretary General of UPF-Asia. They propagated the idea of the true, unconditional love and the role of family systems in building characters.
The Indian delegation members spoke extensively and deliberated upon the issue of moral degradation of man and the need for the value systems, to be re-inculcated by strengthening the family systems.  They stressed upon the relevance of the Eastern values to fight the menace of the sexual impurity. It was underscored that the Indians with supremely strong religious and spiritual tradition must come forward and contribute towards setting the momentum of the world peace.
