SEECC delegation meets Pr Secretary School Education

JAMMU, Feb 6: A delegation of School Education Employees Coordination Committee (SEECC) today met Principal Secretary to Government Education Department Navin Kumar Choudhary and discussed various concerning employees.
The main demands that were taken up by the delegation led by Ganesh Khajuria (chairman JKTF), Mohd Akbar Khan (president JKTF) and Dr Manzoor (president Lecturers’ Forum) include creation of posts of Masters working as Head Teachers, filling up of all vacant posts of all cadres, regularization of all the incharge cadres, rationalization of teaching staff, removal of pay anomalies of different cadres, changing nomenclature of Class IV employees as Office Assistant, regularization of CPWs and implementation of Minimum Wages Act.
The members also raised issues of regularization of teachers, lab assistants and junior assistants, creation of new job oriented schemes, upgradation of infrastructure in schools, handing over complete control of JKBOSE to Education Department, regularization of Teachers Welfare Fund at state level, enhancement of honorarium of cooks and release of all their pending dues with effect from May 2019 onwards and also release of pending dues of Mid Day Meals.
Meanwhile the delegation handed over a vision document prepared by the academic wing of JKTF to the Principal Secretary in which strategies for improvement in education system were suggested.
The Principal Secretary gave patient hearing to the delegation and assured for every possible redressal of pending issues of employees of School Education Department.
Others who were part of delegation include Surat Singh Toofani, Narinder Jamwal, Peer Nisar Ahmad, Mohd Shafi Rather, Mohd Amin, Mohd Afzal Bhat, Kuldeep Singh Bandral, Darshan Singh, Jamyat Ali Aga, Raj Singh, Kuldeep Verma, Bashir Ahmad Thoker, Aabid Hussain, PD Singh, Mohd Yaseen and Manjeet Singh.
