JAMMU, Dec 14: Civil Secretariat employees today held a protest demonstration against the Power Development Department (PDD) for their failure to restore the electricity for the last over 24 hours.
Amid slogans, hundreds of irate employees under the banner of Secretariat Employees Welfare Union, new BC Road quarters, held massive protest against PDD for not restoring electricity.
They alleged that for the last 24 hours, electricity was not restored, which has created manifold problems for them.
“Due to non-availability of electricity, water supply also got affected, which further created more problems for them”, they added.
