There is urgent need to create awareness among people in Jammu vis-a-vis newly introduced land laws in order to remove apprehensions about land grab by outsiders. It is the duty of the Government and other well wishers of Jammu region to come forward on this issue or anti-social elements would use it to do dirty politicking.
Canards are rife that there would be increase in crime and thefts, and that would endanger the safety of peace loving people of Jammu region once people from rest of India would buy land in Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory.
It is, however, expected that the Industrial sector would see growth and new employment opportunities are created in the UT, besides giving a filip to the economy.
