JAMMU, Feb 23: The second edition of “Innovate to Excel” was today concluded at the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), Solan in Himachal Pradesh.
The primary objective of this initiative was to foster innovation-driven thinking among students, enhance awareness about entrepreneurship and strengthen intellectual engagement.
The program commenced with a formal inaugural session held under the guidance and leadership of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof R K Sharma.
The event was coordinated by Prof Tiratha Raj Singh, Associate Dean (Innovation), along with Prof Ashish Rohilla and Dr Saurabh Srivastava, who emphasized the importance of nurturing an innovation ecosystem and strengthening industry-academia collaboration.
The organizers also acknowledged the continuous support and encouragement of Manu Bhaskar Gaur, CEO, JUIT, for promoting innovation-driven initiatives and institutional growth.
A major highlight of the event was the keynote session delivered by Ritika Singh, CEO and Founder, Kontent Factory, who shared insights into digital entrepreneurship and innovation-driven business models.
Another keynote address by Sandeep Jain, CEO and Founder, GeeksforGeeks, focused on startup culture, skill development and building scalable technology-based ventures.
The program also featured an eminent panel of industry experts and speakers, including, Hitesh Gulati, Founder, CBMA (Consulting & Investment Advisory), Ekant Aggarwal, Ekant Associates & CBMA, Anuradha Chawla, Smart Data and Jas K Shah, 2× TEDx Motivational Speaker.
A special acknowledgment was given to the Student Council for their significant contribution in organizing and managing the event, ensuring smooth coordination and active student engagement throughout the program.
The valedictory session featured a special keynote address by S K Arora, CEO, AppSmart, who spoke on industry readiness and translating innovation into impactful business solutions.
The ceremony was also graced by the presence of the Registrar, JUIT, who appreciated the efforts of the organizers and participants.
