SRINAGAR, Oct 13: Upper reaches of Kashmir valley received season’s first light snowfall today.

Light snowfall was received at Zojila on Srinagar-Leh National Highway, connecting Ladakh region with Kashmir.
The upper heights in Sonamarg and Baltal, base camp of Amarnath Ji shrine, also received snowfall.
The snowfall led to drop in the temperatures in Kashmir valley with people pulling out woollens from their wardrobes.
