JAMMU, May 8: Society of Dental Surgeons J&K (SDSJK) today highlighted their demands in its meeting held here under the chairmanship of Dr Imryaz Banday, association president.
The demands that came up for discussion in the meeting included upgradation of number of DS in District Hospital from 2 to 6 and SDH from 1 to 3, creation of posts of Dental Surgeons in all newly constructed NTPHCs wherein Medical Officer posts have been already created and filling up of all the clear vacancies.
The meeting expressed hope that Government will create a bulk number of posts of Dental Surgeons for the betterment of dental fraternity and improving oral health care.
The association appealed all the Dental Surgeons to unite and stress the Government working on these grave issues in a time bound manner.
