MENDHAR, May 15: The Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO), Mendhar, Surinder Choudhary has placed a Head Constable and Constable under suspension for their negligence during duty as five thefts took place overnight in Mendhar town just two days back.
There was strong public resentment against local police, as the theft took place in the main market despite the fact that night patrol has been deployed in the town. The DySP Surinder Choudhary placed Constable Shakoor Ahmed and Head Constable Abdul Menan under suspension for dereliction in duty. They were attached to DPL Poonch.
