SDP asks youth to take active part in politics

JAMMU, Sept 7: Socialist Democratic Party (SDP) today urged the youth not to shy away from politics but take active part in it and pay their positive role in strengthening of democracy in the country.
This was stated by party general secretary Ajay Sharma while addressing a function of the party here today in which, a large number of delegates from Bishnah, Miran Sahib, R S Pura and Samba participated.
He while reiterating the SDP’s resolve to change the political system in the State as Party will strive for making political system clean and honest in the state so that the system for dispensation of justice is responsive to peoples needs.
He said SDP under the steawardship of its chief Dr Darakhan Andhrabi has launched a crusade throughout the State in this regard and Party will fight out the corruption and nepotism in the State.
Sharma said the people in J&K are fed up with the opportunistic politics which has exploited the common masses as a result of which the new generation is getting disgruntled with the political system and they are distancing from the same.
He urged the party delegates to carry forward the party message in every nook and corner of the State and strengthen it for the better future of the people. He also urged them to fan in their respective areas and get the problems of the people solved.
The function was also addressed by Abdul Majid Shah. The other Party leaders Gursagar Singh, Subash Baba, Balkrishan Hazare and J L Chopra also addressed the function.
