KISHTWAR, May 11: Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Chatroo, Qazi Masood Ahmed today organized a public grievance cum redressal camp at Kuchhal, one of the remotest area of tehsil Mugalmaidan.
The SDM was accompanied by Irshad Ahmed, Tehsildar Mugalmaidan, Dr Mohsin Raza, Block Development Officer, Mugalmaidan, Sudhir Sharma, AEE PDD, Chatroo, Jagan Nath, ZEO Inderwal, Tariq Rasool Munshi, TSO Chatroo, besides officers of various line departments.
The public which had come from far off places from different Panchayats of the area presented before the chair numerous problems relating to various sectors including shortage of staff in schools, lack of infrastructure in schools, inadequate supply of drinking water, faulty verification of Ration Cards, deplorable condition of roads, etc.
The SDM gave a patient hearing to the public and issued on spot directions to the sectoral officers and gave them a timeline to resolve the specific issues pertaining to them.
