JAMMU, May 20: In the wake of increasing COVID-19 cases, SDM Akhnoor, Chand Kishore Sharma visited Health and Wellness Centre and PHC Kathar in Maira Mandrian.
The SDM was informed that a comprehensive strategy has been framed for testing at village level and mobile teams are regularly conducting Rapid Antigen Test for Coronavirus.
He was informed that during the last five days 24 persons have been tested positive in village Keour of Kathar area.
The SDM interacted with doctors at PHC Kathar and elected representatives of the Panchayat.
He appealed to the locals of the area to avoid venturing out unnecessarily and follow COVID SOPs.
