JAMMU, Sept 8: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leader Abdul Hamid Choudhary today said that the incumbent Government was working with sole aim of providing people better employment opportunities and meeting their needs in most effective manner. The Opposition on the other hand was trying to create hurdles in development works and unnecessarily spreading rumours only because it itself had failed to deliver.
The PDP leader said it was towards this end that State Cabinet also approved concept paper of Skill and Entrepreneurship Development Mission for Jammu and Kashmir State. The Mission intends to establish Skill Development Centres (SDC) in every district, block and Panchayat of the State so that young people are trained in more than two dozen courses that will enable them to seek employment in a better way.
Expressing his concern over border issue, Choudhary Hamid added that nothing short of peace can end these hostilities for which a meaningful dialogue must be initiated by both countries.
