Srinagar, Dec 3: An interactive session with the Numberdars of villages falling within the Local Planning area of Srinagar Metropolitan Region-2035 was held at the office of Srinagar Development Authority (SDA) under the chairmanship of the Vice Chairman (VC) SDA.
A press statement issued here said that the participants were briefed about the importance of Master Plan for ensuring proper and organized development of these areas. They were also briefed about the Development Code Regulations, its implications, various land uses, and judicious use of land parcels.
VC explained to the participants that building permission was an important tool for proper implementation of Master Plan on the ground so as to achieve planned development. The Numberdars were told that it was their duty the public in their areas aware of the necessity of approaching the SDA for the accord of Building Permission.
The interaction, as per SDA, was first of its kind which was organized to familiarize the stakeholders with the necessity of undertaking any development or construction only after a permission from the authority.
