UDHAMPUR, Apr 28: A Scooty rider died after his two-wheeler skidded off the road and rolled down into a deep gorge at Kaghote in Ramnagar, here today.
The deceased was identified as Hitanshu Gupta, son of Satish Kumar Gupta, resident of Ward number 3, Ramnagar.
According to the reports, the Scooty bearing registration number JK14H-6701 was on its way from Udhampur to Ramnagar when met with the accident at around 12 noon. Police and local rushed the injured to Sub District Hospital Ramnagar where doctors declared him as brought died.
After the postmortem and completion of all the legal formalities, Police handed over the dead body to family members for last rites.
