KALAKOTE, Sept 24: Youth leader Kalakote, Wasim Kohli today visited the far flung areas of Kalakote including Panchayat Kotechadwal, Khorbani, Methane and Panglar and took stock of the problems of local populace.
He found that most of the schools are in bad condition, as they sans proper building and even are short of staff. There is no road connectivity and people have to tread on foot miles. Water pipes though have been installed but are without water for days. Same is the case with power supply and people have to spend night under the darkness.
After observing the ground realities, Kohli accompanied with Rajkumar Sharma, Mohd basher, Mohd Shabir and Phel Singh, met XEn PMGSY and AEE, PHE, Kalakote and apprised them of the people problems regarding roads and water supply. They also met concerned CEO and informed them of lack of infrastructure and staff in the schools of the area.
