JAMMU, Sept 8: Government today ordered constitution of a committee for monitoring of the Human Capital Index (HCI) in the Union Territory of J&K and designated School Education Department as the Nodal department.
Order in this regard was issued today by the General Administration Department, according to which, the committee shall meet at least once a month and ensure on ground implementation of the reform actions.
Headed by Principal Secretary, School Education Department, the committee shall submit its report to the nodal department on quarterly basis.
Administrative Secretary, Social Welfare Department; Additional Secretary, Higher Education Department; Project Director, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, J&K; Additional Secretary, Health & Medical Education Department and Additional Secretary, Skill Development Department are Members of the committee.
