JAMMU, Dec 16: Five- day Capacity Building training programme on e-content development was organized by Department of Educational Communication Technology & Computer Science (ECT & CS), Academic Unit -III, JKSCERT, Jammu.
The programme was inaugurated by Prof Sindhu Kapoor, Joint Director SCERT Divisional Office Jammu, who impressed upon the need of organizing such trainings and encouraged the participants to take away the maximum from the experts by participating actively in the process.
Welcome address was given by coordinator Lakshmi Puri and keynote address was delivered by Prof Surjeet Kumar, Head Academic Unit-III.
The Programme was deliberated by experts Jewan Singh, HOD ECT&CS; Academic Officers Manisha Chun, Anil Sharma, Rohit Sharma, Lakshmi Puri, Vivek Jandiyal, Navneet Gupta, Rajesh Hali, Dr Balgar Singh , Puneet Thukral, Rakesh Chobber & Manjusha Kapoor.
The resource persons stressed upon the basic principles and best practices for developing e -content, familiarize the process of e-content development, digital initiatives, hand on open shot video editor, e-content development using Artificial Intelligence, awareness on cyber security and safety, digital storytelling, augmented reality, use of Canva, audacity, Infographics, comic strip and mind map, animation resource, assessment tools and developing interactive e-content in H5p.
The programme was managed by the Academic officers namely Neena Puri, Poonam Sharma, Seema Matto Koul, Neeraj Jamwal, Arsh Kour, Dr Sandrve , Parshotam Singh, Dr Seema Zakir & Meena Thakur. The technical support was provided by Vivek Jandial, Academic Officer and Navneet Gupta , Academic Officer.The media support was provided by Tahir Gafoor Mir and Mohd Imtiyaz Mughal.
On the last day of the programme, participants presented group presentations and also shared their valuable feedback. Valedictory function was graced by Prof Sindhu Kapoor, Prof Swarn Singh Jaral, Prof Surjeet Kumar, Sultana Kousar, Tahira Parveen, Dr Neeraj Jandiyal and Assistant Professors, . Parveen Akther, Pushpa Kaith and Dr Sanjeevani, SCERT, Jammu. Jewan Singh, HOD ECT & CS department, presented the report of the five- day training programme and programme concluded with vote of thanks by course coordinator, Lakshmi Puri.
