JAMMU, Apr 21: J&K State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission has been made functional with Government making appointment of two members D K Kapoor, former District and Sessions Judge and Advocate Sabina Jan.
An SRO No.190 was issued by Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs in exercise of powers conferred under Sub-Section(1) of Section 14 of Jammu and Kashmir Consumer Protection Act,1987 read with Rule 12 (II) of Jammu and Kashmir Consumer Protection Rules, 1987.
These appointments have been made for a period of five years.
