A division bench of the Supreme Court comprising Justice Arjan Kumar Sikri and Justice Fakkir Mohamed Ibrahim Kaifullah granted bail to Manohar Singh after hearing arguments with the condition that he wouldn’t enter Jammu and Kashmir except for appearance in the court.
A similar condition had also been imposed on Rakesh Singh when he was granted the bail.
One of the accused in the case Sub Inspector Satnam Singh, who was Investigating Officer at Gandhi Nagar police station, had died during the trial in the hospital, where he had been shifted from the jail.
