JAMMU, Oct 7: Training programmes on ‘Beauty Parlour Management’ and ‘Jute Product Udyami’ were conducted by State Bank of India Rural Self Employment Training Institute (SBI RSETI) and sponsored by Union Ministry of Rural Development.
Forty nine trainees hailing from village Kheral, Reasi, Katra and Salal participated in the training and learnt entrepreneurship skills.
At valedictory function Adarsh Gupta, DDM NABARD Reasi distributed Skill Qualification Certificates amongst pass out trainees.
Sajaid Ahmad Beg, Lead District Manager (LDM), Reasi and Nem Kumar Gora, Director SBI RSETI Reasi were also present on the occasion.
The DDM NABARD and the LDM interacted with participants and deliberated about various finance schemes of the Bank which these trainees can avail to set up business units.
The LDM assured the participants of all assistance in availing credit facilities and hoped that they will show enthusiasm in setting up their units.
Speaking on the occasion Nem Kumar Gora, Director RSETI impressed upon the trainees to act as ambassadors of RSETI and spread the message in their areas so that more and more youth can avail the benefit of training facilities provided by the institute.
Director RSETI Reasi also informed that the institute is going to conduct new batches of ‘Computerized Accounting’ and ‘Tailoring for Women’ in coming months and the interested candidates may register themselves for the same with RSETI, Reasi.
