UDHAMPUR, Nov 16: Provincial president of Women Wing of National Conference,  Satwant Kaur Dogra today said that the coalition Government will soon fall in view of serious differences within the leadership of PDP as much as differences between the coalition partners BJP and  PDP.
Addressing a public meeting at Udhampur today, Satwant Dogra said that this unholy and opportunist alliance having no agenda of its own,  is now fully exposed and will not complete even  half of the term. The meeting was organised by District president of National Conference, Sunil Verma.
Satwant Dogra  charged coalition partners with pursuing a sinister and definite agenda of polarizing situation to divert the public attention from failures of the past over eight months and said that the public disenchantment has reached the peak and people at large including youth and women are fed up with  the false agenda and false slogans of BJP.   She expressed anguish over the problems confronted to the people of rural and far flung areas which are accumulating day by day due to the failure of the Government on all fronts. Alleging BJP-PDP Government’s failure in protecting the interests of reserved categories, she sought immediate measures for ensuring their reservation in promotion.
She said that National Conference is the only party which firmly stands for the peace, prosperity and unity of the three regions of the State and will continue to uphold this basic principle of its political agenda.
District president Sunil Verma said that National Conference has all along struggled and contributed for the solidarity and integrity of the State along with inculcation of nationalism among the people. The historic role of J&K National Conference for strengthening the pluralistic ethos and nurturing brotherhood among all sections of the society is a glaring one and looms large on the political spectrum of Jammu and Kashmir, he added.
Those who spoke on the occasion, included Adv  K D Sharma, Pinky Bhatt, Asha Mehra, Pushpa Dogra, Adv B B Sharma, Adv K P Sharma, Ram Parshottam Sharma, Safdar Hussain Tak and others.
