Satsang held to commemorate Janmotsav of Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda

JAMMU, Jan 10: A satsang was held to commemorate the Janmotsav of Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda by devotees of Yogoda Satsang Society of India at Yogoda Satsang Dhyana Kendra (YSDK), Udheywala.
During the celebrations of Janmotsav, more than thousand devotees participated in meditation, spiritual teachings and cosmic chanting.
The devotees were enlightened with the instrumentality of Kriya Yoga as scientific technique to strike the balance between material aspirations and spiritual enlightenment.
Free books and literature were distributed among devotees and function culminated with community fest.
Paramahansa Yogananda considered as father of modern yoga founded Yogoda Satsanga Society of India (YSS) in 1917 at Ranchi and his incredible literary master piece ‘Autobiography of a Yogi’ introduced the truth-seekers all over the world to instrumentality of Kriya Yoga meditation for God communion.
