JAMMU, Mar 6: Sat Sharma, senior BJP leader and former Minister today inaugurated newly constructed lane and drain in lane number 10 A, in Kabir Colony area of Ward number 40 in Talab Tillo falling under Jammu West Assembly constituency.
JMC Councillor of Ward No 40 Neelam Nargotra, J&K BJP Media Secretary Dr Pardeep Mahotra, Talab Tillo Mandal President Keshav Chopra, BJP SC Morcha District President Yashpaul Shivgotra, other prominent BJP leaders and prominent locals were present on the occasion.
Sat Sharma, while dedicating the newly constructed lane and drain to the masses, said that the prominent locals discussed the issue of reconstructing this lane with him and now with the enthusiastic efforts from the local Councillor the work is dedicated to the masses. He said that this is a little step in realizing the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream for “Swacch Bharat” at the ground level starting from one’s own locality. He said that with the collective effort by the common masses and the inspiration of PM Modi, the dedicated JMC Councillor ensured the quality work in a short span of time to mitigate hardships of locals.
Councilor Neelam Nargotra said, she has served residents of the Ward with the selfless motto of meeting their development needs at the local level. She said that many lane and drain works are being executed at this time and the remaining areas will also be covered soon with the needed construction and repair works.
Dr Pardeep Mahotra, stressed that the lane and drain work is one of the basic works needed along with that of water, electricity for a common person. Keshav Chopra appreciated the dedicated work by the Ward Councillor and reaffirmed the party’s commitment to the development.
Rajesh Gupta, Rahul Nargotra, Abhishek Sharma, Angrez Singh, Rajinder, Krishan Lal Sangral, Ramesh Singh, Nirmala Devi and others were also present on the occasion.
