JAMMU, Feb 18: Former State president BJP and Ex Minister, Sat Sharma (CA) handed over Ayushman Bharat Golden cards to 300 people hailing from various areas of the Assembly segment at a function held at Ward 24, Rehari Colony area of Jammu West Assembly Segment today.
Sharma was accompanied by district president, Munish Khajuria, Mandal president, Raveesh Mengi, UT general secretary, Mahila Morcha, Urvashi Gupta and others. The programme was organized by district media secretary, Rajan Gupta.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that BJP teams in every ward of the Assembly segment are reaching out to masses daily and people who have not yet registered themselves with this extraordinary scheme of PM Narendra Modi led Central Government are being asked to register for the same. He complimented PM and LG, Manoj Sinha for showing their concern for the people of J&K and said that J&K is the only place in the country where the benefits of the scheme can be availed by any person.
He stated that such time should not come into the life of a person when this scheme is availed but keeping in mind the pandemic situation across the globe and other unavoidable circumstances it is necessary for every one to get registered under the scheme. He also stated that a permanent camp has been set up in Rehari Colony where people can come anytime and can get themselves registered for the scheme.
Munish Khajuria said that thousands of souls have been registered under the scheme in Jammu West and under the leadership of former MLA, Sat Sharma, the teams have been constituted at Ward level where activists of BJP are assisting the public in every way possible to provide them benefits of the other Centrally sponsored schemes as well. He said more will be covered under the scheme in coming days.
Raveesh Mengi and Urvashi Gupta claimed that Jammu West is the only constituency in J&K where maximum people have been provided with the benefits of Modi Government schemes and former MLA has reached out to every nook and corner of the constituency to make people aware about the schemes which has changed lifestyle of many.
Sangeeta Verma, Rohit Gupta, Vijay Mahajan and others were also present on the occasion.
