Sat inaugurates washroom at Durga Nagar Cremation Ground

JAMMU, Aug 4: Former Minister, Sat Sharma (CA) today inaugurated newly constructed washroom at Durga Nagar Cremation Ground (Shamshan Ghat) in Ward 41 of Jammu West constituency. Sharma was accompanied by State secretary BJP, Sanjay Baru (Corporator), district president, Ayodhya Gupta, chairma SJC, Jeet Angral (Corporator), Corporator Ward 41, Neelam Nargotra, political activists of the area and prominent citizens on the occasion.
The funds for construction of washroom were sanctioned through Constituency Development Fund (CDF) scheme of former MLA which was sanctioned during his tenure and its work was delayed due to Code of Conduct of elections and other reasons. The work was now taken up as soon as the process got cleared. The works will be constructed under the supervision of JMC and partially funded from the department as well.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that the condition of the Shamshan Ghat was not up to the mark and many people also complained about the same. So, keeping in view the interests of public and the importance of the place in society, the works had to be taken up.
Sharma also stated that such places hold a very religious importance in our culture and “it should be our priority to keep them in a good condition as people in bulk visit such places daily and we are duty bound to provide every type of assistance to public at such spots’’.
Sanjay Baru and Ayodhya Gupta complimented the former Minister for his proactive approach and stated that Ward 41 has been equipped with all modern infra and that is with the help of former MLA who is working hard in order to provide best possible services to masses. He also stated that more developmental works will be taken up in coming days.
Jeet Angral and Neelam Nargotra stated that Jammu West has progressed a lot towards development and in nearly last five years, the infrastructural development pertaining to everything  were kept on priority in all 26 wards of Jammu West.
Jaideep Sambyal, Keshav Chopra, Munish Gupta, Jatin Sethi, Vinod Wazir, Ashok Wazir,  Brijesh Gupta, Arun Dubey, Rajesh Saini, Yash Pal Shivgotra, Dr. Inderjit Bakshi, Deen Dayal Sharma,  Jatinder Khajuria and many others were also present.
